1987 Porsche 911 Carrera - Targa - Guards Red

The Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Targa is a variant of the Carrera 3.2 that debuted in 1984 as a successor to the 911SC Targa. The Carrera 3.2 Targa was built in the "narrow-body" semi-convertible body style, and was powered by a naturally aspirated 3.2L flat six that sent drive to the rear wheels through a 5 speed manual transmission. Initially, the Carrera 3.2 Targa featured Porsche's 915 gearbox, but starting in 1987, these cars were fitted with Getrag's G50 manual gearbox, which was a marked upgrade from the 915. Production of the Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Targa lasted until 1989, with a total of 18,468 examples built.
