Relive Porsche’s racing history behind the wheel of this iconic RS

A direct descendant of the 911’s racing history, the iconic Carrera RS is a strongly sought-after classic. It represents the first 911 built to specifically homologate Porsche’s successful racing model. With 210 horsepower, the fuel injected 2.7liter motor killed it on the street and on the track.

This particular RS is a highly optioned Touring model that sports factory-original air conditioning, in addition to several other unique features. Restored several years ago and painted in the original color of Light Ivory (Code 131), it is in show condition.

A numbers-matching car, it retains all of its authentic equipment. The sport seats are in excellent condition, as are all of the gauges, dashboard, door pockets and headliner. The motor includes an authentic and correct MFI pump, and the original sunroof glides open and shut. It runs strong, as an RS should, with no issues.

Its first owner special-ordered the car from Brazil and included items that are hardly ever found on a first-series factory car. For example, this RS comes with power windows and an electric sunroof, perfect for enjoying a warm summer day. Its full black leather interior features left and right sport seats, each with a headrest and a shoulder restraint seat belt. This ultra collectible model even has long-range through-the-grill driving lights, a stainless steel muffler skirt and limited slip differential. Its heated rear window increases its drive-ability, even in changing weather. The tinted glass windows and black headliner add a unique and modern touch. And, last but not least, it comes with an original Becker AM/FM Cassette player.

We can foresee this car turning some serious heads, on the track, on the road and on the concourse.
