1968 Ford Country Squire Wagon LTD

The sixth generation of Ford Country Squire was introduced for the 1965 model year. This new generation of Country Squire was based on the Ford Galaxie, and was offered as a four door, wood paneled station wagon. These cars were available with a range of engines, including a 3.9L inline six, and a variety of V8 options, including a range topping 7.0L unit. These engines were paired to both manual and automatic transmission options that sent drive to the rear wheels. For the 1968 model year, the Country Squire became part of the Ford LTD family, before being replaced by the Seventh Generation Ford Country Squire for 1969.
